Little Rock Chamber Music

The Chamber Music Society of Little Rock continues today in the spirit of its founders. In 1953, a group of friends began planning to enrich the cultural life of Little Rock by bringing chamber music to the city. The society has a commitment to presenting only those artists who meet the very highest standard. Every season, the society offers four concerts which, chosen with a concern for balance, typically include both soloists and ensembles. Over the years, performers have included young groups on the rise, as well as established players. Notable guests have included the Guarneri Quartet, the Chestnut Brass, and the Parker String Quartet.
